Welcome to my blog with the new look. I'm currently writing my third book in the Kidd Family Series - novels based on true life stories. The books are exciting with lots of adventure, fun, and an occasional miracle. I'll share excerpts.

Dogwood

Today I took a walk in the yard and saw the dogwood tree bloomed profusely. One flower, blown away with the wind, lay on the ground, its white petals a contrast to the dirt.

Remembering the legend of the dogwood I saw anew the likeness of a cross, the curve of a nail imprint on each petal tip surrounded by the color of blood stains, the crown of thorns in the middle.

I picked it up and once again thanked God for sending His son to die on a cross for my sins. When I gazed at the tree loaded with these white crosses I knew there were enough for everybody. He died for all mankind - that includes you.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

The Straight and Narrow Way

There is a way that seems right to a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 14:12

Strait is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to life and few there be that find it. Mt. 7:14



"Now that I've found the right path I'll stay on it."
